Keys Please

Keys Please offers some information and practical ideas for parents and young people on how to use the learning to drive period and 120 hours of practice to help learners become safer drivers.

The free information session runs for just 75 minutes with a presenter from VicRoads and there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get the right information.

Looking After Our Mates

Looking After Our Mates is an education session, delivered by trained presenters, about responsible consumption of alcohol and strategies to avoid drink driving. An initiative of RoadSafe, Looking After Our Mates is supported by Victoria Police, TAC, Australian Drug Foundation, Good Sports and VicRoads.

Fit2Drive

Fit to Drive (f2d) is a community program for young people that concentrates on personal safety and responsibility giving them strategies to make them safer on the road.

f2d actively encourages and empowers young people as road users to look after themselves and their friends.

L2P

The VicRoads L2P – learner driver mentor program assists learners under 21 years of age, who do not have access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.

Mobile Phones and Driving

Think before you text or pick up the phone. 17-2 year olds have the highest risk of death or serious injury while driving. Mobile phones are a distraction.

Be Bright at Night

NorthWest4, is encouraging cyclist to Be Bright at Night.

Ensure that everyone on the road or path can see you by using your bicycle lights as dusk approaches, on dark mornings or if weather conditions are poor.

NorthWest4 also held Cycling confidence workshops in all four Councils.
